The National Civics Bee® is an exciting competition that inspires young Americans to engage in civics and make a difference in their communities. Hosted across Colorado, the Bee challenges middle school students to test their civic knowledge for a chance to earn recognition and cash prizes. The winner of the Colorado State Finals will advance to the National Civics Bee Championship in Washington, D.C. in Fall 2025, where they will compete for $100,000 in scholarships and other prizes.
The Colorado Chamber Foundation, in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Daniels Fund, and seven local chambers of commerce, is proud to host the 2025 National Civics Bee Colorado State Finals. This dynamic competition encourages 6th, 7th, and 8th graders from public, private, charter, and home schools to think critically about civic issues, develop solutions for their communities, and showcase their knowledge in a fast-paced quiz and public speaking format. This event will be broadcasted live on 9News. Join us in celebrating civic engagement and shaping the leaders of tomorrow!
